The mindset of a Successful Entrepreneur!

When I was in London, years back, I used to claim unemployment benefit; you know social security because I didn’t have a job, so I used to claim benefit. And one day I was called to a training centre and they said, “Oh, you’ve had enough benefit, now you need to train yourself.” So what I did was, I wrote down – I want to be a trainer, and I had no desire of being a trainer. It’s just that it was the easiest option. And it had the least amount of hours required for the work that they wanted me to do. I was just trying to get away from there! And now I’m a Trainer! Let me tell you an important thing that I think one should focus on for business. Now, if I want to achieve success, the first thing I’ve got to understand is that you should be able to teach it! If I’m going to run a business today, and I’m going to motivate you and inspire you, give you clarity, I should be able to teach you how to build those skills. Do you agree with me that team with a vision, is a team that is almost unstoppable? So, if you want to achieve success, you’ve got to be able to teach it! As an entrepreneur, I’ve got a habit, if I learn something, if I read something, I come across an article, I watch a video, within 48 hours I will teach it! Now all the stuff that you’ve learned here today, within 48 hours wherever you can remember, you should go and teach, share it! I don’t mean hold a seminar; I mean have a coffee, talk to someone. Because when you teach it, it means that you know it! You can’t teach what you don’t know. So I’m a big fan of teaching! That also means learning, you’ve got to learn, you’ve got to educate yourself. As a business owner, if would you like to take your business to a new level, then you must do this! So I have an exercise for you… if you already have a business, great! If you’re planning to start, like a brand new start-up, it maybe a little bit harder for you. So, I’m going to ask you to write down a quick Description and Mission of your business. And if you don’t have one…and you have no idea what you’re going to do, make it up, just for the sake of it! You must do this to get clarity in business.
